2. User Responsibility & Content Ownership

ReadAlouder acts purely as a technical text-to-speech (TTS) utility that converts textual input into audio. You are solely responsible for any document, book, or text you upload. You must ensure you own the rights, have explicit permission, or that the material is in the public domain before converting it into audio. We do not claim ownership of, review, or assume legal liability for user-submitted files.

3. Data Storage

Books, audio chunks, and reading session data are stored locally or within your dedicated private server environment using encrypted session identifiers. We do not harvest, sell, or analyze your personal library data, and we do not distribute or publicly share your private documents.

4. Third-Party Services

Voice generation models operate within secure boundaries. No personal identifiers are associated with text chunks processed through our synthesis pipeline.
